Hazel Underwood, Director
HDC start: 1997
"I am responsible for staff to be happy in their employ, plus I have various duties including running the company in a good manner, accounts work and general day to day running of the business."
Previous roles
I owned and ran a children’s private day nursery responsible for 50 children a day. A complete change into this field.
What HDC means to Hazel
Quality and loyalty to both customers and employees. A company we hope you feel you can rely on for our best service. I enjoy working for our company very much.
Hobbies
Gardening when I have the time, dining out with friends and family, music and TV.
Dean Underwood, Managing Director
HDC start: 1997
"I am the sorter of all problems that can't be solved by anybody else, alongside customer sales."

I've owned previous technology related companies.
What HDC means to Dean
Practised, proficient and prudent.
Hobbies
The only hobby I am allowed is playing five-a-side football! I do have two young children and spend 10-12 hours a day at work. I do however go to gymnastics, dancing, swimming, drama and McDonald's every Saturday, with the girls (as Mummy's at work).
Mary Cowing, Packing Supervisor

I have worked for TIB PLC for 7 years as a Team Leader for the Packing Department.

Paula Zadorozny, Financial Director

I've worked for a chartered accountant for two and a half years doing book keeping and similar duties to what I do now.

Hobbies
I have a 5-year old son who I love spending my time with, going on holiday, studying my child psychology degree and travelling to Bridlington caravaning!
Karl Hallam, Graphics Studio Manager

Previous roles
I previously worked for Capita, an outsourcing company who deal with Abbey Home Insurance. I had a variety of roles from advisor, senior advisor to complaints manager. I was with the company for 5 years, during which I studied Product Design at Huddersfield University.
What HDC means to Karl
An avant-garde company which is dedicated to its customer base and staff. A really relaxed, friendly and receptive place to work, which helps get the creative juices flowing.
Hobbies
Hanging out with friends, eating out, music and karaoke after several beers, cinema, snowboarding, running, gardening (sad, I know!).

I previously worked for a large card company as a studio assistant. In this role I had to have a keen eye for detail, and a high standard before sending the job out.

I previously worked at Schofield Sweeney Solicitors where I was receptionist / administrator, prior to that I was a facilities co-ordinator for the NHS for 5 years.

I enjoy card making and photography. I've just bought my first house with Chrispy noodle (my fiance) so am enjoying decorating etc.
